* Enorrste Post: The G.E.T. Team (After the RV)
My thoughts
It should be said up front by myself and possibly by many others who have entered this investment that if we had known about the angst and frustrations that we would endure during this process we might have had second, or even third thoughts.
The reality, though, is that many, if not most of us have entered this adventure because we knew in some way that it was a good deal.
My message to you is very simple: this is a good deal.
I have written a book on this investment. It is free and available here on this very site. It will convince you that what I say is based on information that came not from a “source” or a “hope” or a “dream” but in fact came from the very players in the market who can make this happen.
I receive emails and calls daily from folks who ask me, “Is this really going to happen?” I’ve become friends with these people because I understand how important this is to their financial future.
But what I wish to address in this post is much more significant. It does not deal with “need” as much as “obedience”.
I, like many of you, “need” this investment to work out. I won’t die if it doesn’t, but my standard of living will be compromised significantly. Furthermore, I may have to “start over”, as it were. This is difficult for a man of 61 years.
But I’ve become aware that many, if not most, of our members are in roughly similar situations.
As I have thought and prayed about this I’ve come to a realization that is nothing short of fantastic, if I may be so bold.
Here is what I have found, and what I truly believe. I don’t do this lightly, incidentally, but since I am one of the “Three Amigos” I feel that I may be entitled to express my opinion without remorse or retribution. In short: I think I have Gankans and TerryK at my back on what I will say from here on.
So what do I really want to say?
I’ve come to the conclusion that the delays and the frustrations that we have endured in this process are actually intentional, surprisingly. They are intentional from a level that many people in the world would not understand, but for the believers in the world this delay is totally in line with the will of God.
Now, there I have said it. I used the “G” word. I may have even crossed a line here. I am not unaware that my words end up all over the net. I use them with caution for just that reason!
However, it is now becoming more and more clear to me that what we are seeing is almost “biblical” in the way in which it is coming to fruition.
Yes, I said coming to fruition, because that is exactly what is happening. We are seeing a “process of God” coming to fruition which overlays the political machinations of the supposed Iraqi leaders or, for that matter, the UN, the IMF, or even the US.
In short, my friends, what we are blessed, to use Frank’s word, to be experiencing is nothing short of an act of God.
Now, I realize that I am stepping over a big line here. I do so with some reservation but also with a sense of confidence that is built upon faith.
Far be it for me to tell God what He will do. But for me to see what God is DOING is another thing entirely. God has always been in the arena of the Middle East. I could spend hours telling you how he has manipulated persons, peoples, and countries, to affect His will onto the world. That story has been told and is still being told.
But what I want to address is the subtlety of His current actions. Yes, I am going to boldly go where none have gone before.
I am going to venture into the “religious” area, if you will. But more specifically, this is simply prophetic.
Like it or not, the world will always turn around the Middle East. I do not say this lightly nor do I say it because I am trying to be a sensationalist. There is a simple fact in the history of the world, and that is that it revolves, and will continue to revolve, around the Middle East. I could be much more specific in this but an example may prove my point.
When Abram was renamed Abraham his name was changed by God for a very good reason. His original name meant “exalted father” which would have been enough for any of us. But his new name means “father of a multitude of nations”. This, I submit, is very significant to the discussion at hand.
Many folks among the Christians and the Jews tend to believe that Abraham is their father, and they are technically correct. But what they either do not know or do not want to emphasize is that the Arab community in the world, or to be more specific, the entire Middle East, consists also of the children of Abraham.
I alluded to this in an earlier conference call and it was posted. Now it is time to talk more boldly about the reality that we are facing. The implications are nothing short of “severe”, if you will, and may be catastrophic at worst.
Why would I bring this up before the RV? Does it really matter?
I suggest that what I am going to present not only matters, but that it matters ultimately.
I have now crossed the line, my friends, and I am fully aware of what I have done. I am not a “nut case”, although I was occasionally accused of being that by my ex-wife. She is still my friend, incidentally, and, while she still thinks I’m “out there”, she has found it important to “stay in touch” some 12 years after our divorce. Take that for what it is worth. Here is the point of this paragraph: I believe that we are experiencing an outpouring of the Love of God.
Now, I know that I have your attention, and if I don’t, that is also OK. I say that because I really only want to talk to those who understand what I’m going to say.
I, personally, am not an exclusivist sort of guy. However, the God in whom I believe is very exclusivist. In fact, He is the only exclusivist God on the planet, as far as I know.
It is not that I believe that there are many gods around. On the contrary: there is only one God, and He has revealed Himself in His own Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I digress. I was talking about the coming revaluation of the dinar and how it will affect us. This is not an apology for Christ. Others do that better than I do, and almost certainly with more effective results.
But my mission, if I have one, is not to the lost, but to the saved. So, if you will, I will proceed. If you are offended from my comments after this, then you are free to say so. I only hope that when you leave that some of what I say will stick.
What, then, do I have to say? I will confess up front that what follows will not be based on “intel” or even on “articles”. You will not find in this small dissertation of mine anything other than my own well thought out opinions, based upon 40 years of study of the processes that I have seen in this world as they approach a terminus that will not be kind to those who believe, ultimately.
The imminent revaluation of the Iraqi dinar is, in my opinion, among the most important prophetic events that will lead to the return of Christ.
If I had not crossed the line before, I have certainly done so now.
My name is not Jim Jones. I do not insist that you wear tennis shoes and swallow a pill because the Lord will return tonight. I’m nowhere near that sort of ideology.
However, I believe, and I believe this very firmly, that the event that we call the RV or the RI and that Frank calls the “blessing” is about to occur. Because of that belief I feel compelled, if you will, to offer some advice. You may accept this, reject this, or just “sock it away”. However, if you respect me, and if you respect the fact that I have been essentially “on target” with respect to the events of the last few months in terms of predictions, and totally on target in terms of “analysis” since I wrote my book, I would ask you to follow me once again as I delve into some “post RV” thoughts.
With the blessing of the other two Amigos, and only with that blessing, I will move into some thoughts about how we need to deal with our blessing. I will do so only in a very general sense, and will leave the specifics to the other two Amigos. But I’d like to talk about principles, values, and the concept of establishing a legacy for the future that will last into eternity as opposed to “investments” and “making money”. What I will say will in no way be opposed directly to any offerings that are presented here after the RV. Instead, if I do my job right, they will be “pointers” only, so that you will all be better able to utilize the blessing of God effectively, not only for your own benefit, but also for those with whom you will have influence.
First, and foremost, is to obtain a degree of anonymity. In fact, that is not enough. What you will need is total anonymity. I cannot stress this enough. If you have not met with, or emailed, or read Ray and Dwight’s trust information then you do yourselves no service whatsoever. You must follow this advice, or something very similar to it. You must do it quickly, and quietly. Ray and Dwight are decent men, and will help you through this process.
Second, you will have to also “disappear” in a very real sense as opposed to a financial sense. Most of you haven’t even thought about this. Here is the reality: you friends will become your enemies and those strange to you will try to become your friends.
For Christians this is a very tough lesson to learn, but it is based on a sound Biblical principal: the love of money is the root of all evil.
I cannot emphasize this point highly enough. This lesson is a two-edged sword, not just one edge. The first edge of course applies to us as we acquire our wealth. If we love the money more than God it will truly destroy us.
But the other edge of the sword, which many who have never had wealth fail to anticipate, is that the “love of money” can come from without just as easily as from within.
Sadly enough, once you have wealth, you will attract those who love money. Unfortunately, they will become the root of all evil if you entertain them in your life.
I will be the first to admit that I have been tempted by this subtle disease, if I may call it that.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am not tooting my horn here; in fact I have a number of friends who will back me up on this statement, to my fault. The simple fact is that I am probably one of the most naively generous people you would ever meet.
On the surface this sounds as if I’m calling myself a saint. On the contrary, there are a number of ways to fall off of a log. That is my way. I have so little regard for money that I would literally give it away, as I have done in the past. This does not make me a saint. In fact, an argument could be made that I was not a good steward of my money. In any case, my “cross to bear” will be that I will have to tone it down a bit.
For most of you, however, just the opposite may be the case. Or there will be options in between that just as easily allow you to “fall off the log”, so to speak.
So here is the first lesson to hear and, hopefully learn, once we become wealthy, if only relatively so: Give as if you were God Himself.
In this statement you see that you must elevate your thinking to the divine level, if possible. The phrase that comes to mind is this: What would God do?
Now we get to the crux of the issue of money. Having money, or not having money, has little to do with life, ultimately. What matters, with regard to money, is this: what would God do?
For some of you that answer is crystal clear, and I applaud you for your faith and convictions. I know that this group of people will donate even until it hurts. I have no problem with that. It may in fact end up as a good stewardship of their blessing. Only they and God will have to deal with that.
However, I would caution you all in this respect only: with money comes those who see that you have money. As I stated above, this is a double-edged sword. Those who love money will seek you out as well, and if their love of your money is great it will become evil, regardless of your own intentions in giving it. This is my first lesson. It says, essentially, look to God, but beware of man.
Now the second lesson that I would ask you to consider is aligned with the first. It has to do with stewardship. I might note that I am not quoting scripture here, even though I could, but instead am talking about principles that apply regardless of your faith.
Stewardship has to do with protecting and growing. Ray and Dwight have discussed this in depth on their calls, as have the three Amigos at times, although not so directly. I’d like to take a moment and hit this point directly.
I’ve never been wealthy but I see myself in a position in which I may very well become quite wealthy by any measure in the world. The temptations that come with that sort of wealth may be overwhelming, I suspect. But I have an overriding obligation to protect that asset and even to grow it, as I am able. To put it simply: to whom much has been given, much will be expected.
I could offer other parables around this simple truth but it is so obvious that it isn’t necessary. As a seminary student and Bible teacher for many years I’ve always seen myself as held to a higher standard than my students. I do so, quite frankly, because of that simple statement. I will be judged by a higher standard!
However, this doesn’t just apply to teaching, my friends. This applies to all of God’s gifts. And in our case, the gift will be more dangerous than knowledge itself. I am fortunate in that I have been granted a “clutch”, if you will, by my Lord. He has enabled me to have a great gift of intelligence and some hefty analytical skills. But He also has been kind enough to give me a clutch that allows me to go into neutral now and then. You see this as an absence on my part. But it is a real gift, and I use it.
So, here is the question: will you see God’s clutch when he gives it to you? I’m not talking about analyzing articles or intel now. I’m talking about money. Will you see God’s gift of a clutch over your blessing of money? Think about this carefully, my dear friends. This is a more powerful gift than money itself. I can assure you that if God gives you the money, He will also give you the clutch. Learn to use it.
The next lesson is also related to the automobile analogy. That is the gift of a brake. I need not dwell on this because I think that my earlier point has brought to your attention the reality that our blessing should not be handled “full throttle”, so to speak.
Let me be more specific so that you may understand how the blessing of the brake applies to the gift of the money. There will be people who come to you to whom you will have to apply the brakes, quite simply. You will have to learn the word NO. Many Christians don’t know how to say NO. They think that in some sense saying NO is wrong. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Just as being given the blessing that allows you to say YES, you will also, as a good steward, be given the blessing to say NO.
These few lessons are just the start of the life of the blessed. I have no intention of telling you that I have mastered these lessons. On the contrary, I am only doing my best to listen and learn.
However, I believe that these few lessons are critical in God’s plan to affect a revolutionary change in the world over the near future. I have offered enough to tantalize you as individuals and have given you some ideas to seriously consider as we approach the blessing itself. I do not want to talk as Frank has done other than to state unequivocally my conviction that this blessing is REAL and that it will have RESPONSIBILITIES that come with it. If I may impart any advice at all, I would suggest that you all begin to think about those responsibilities now, and not afterwards.
If you wait until afterwards, I can almost guarantee you that it will be too late.
These words from me are directed as much to myself as they are to you, my friends. Of that I can assure you. I sat down tonight not knowing what I would write but knowing that something needed to be said. As I wrote it I also read it. It is as much several lessons to me as it is to you all. I trust that we all will learn from it, as I hope I have.
